Just a quick post today to show my latest entry into the Creative Scrappers sketch 190 ... I'm not a big doily fan, so I made this into a beachy-boy layout using some Jenni Bowlin Studio papers and lots of colourful, random goodness from my stash...

I've decided life is too short and fun for single-photo layouts. haha. Plus, being a photographer I usually have about a gazillion photo's from a half-day trip. I'll never, ever get around to scrapping them all so I'm going to start thinking of creative ways to cram them in.  I'm sure there will still be those occasions where a single photo will suffice.





Have you noticed how 'in' bows are? When I first saw them I grimaced, but I actually think they are quite fun and playful on layouts now I've given it a go, I especially love this bright Bo Bunny material.





And I made the banner using my Silhouette SD digital cutter. A little left over cardstock goes a long way in this house, and was the last element to 'finish' my page. I thought this page was going to get shelved until I thought of the nautical banner idea...
