CASE Study Challenge #9

I love the CASE Study challenge site, what a fantastic idea! Each month they have a different muse (someone super talented in the industry), and each week there's a different card to draw inspiration from. Click here to go to the site if you haven't visited already - lots of fun!

Here's what I created for this weeks challenge...

I could have made the flower out of Old Olive and Early Espresso papers (and I did, actually) but the card was missing something, so I added a splash of colour by using Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso with the Circles #2 dies + BigShot from Stampin' Up! to make it pop.

The stamps are from WPlus9 (leaves) and Papertrey Ink (sentiment) and stamped in Old Olive and Early Espresso. The newspaper patterned paper is from Stampin' Up!, and punched with the Fiskars 'Apron Lace' border die.

Here's a little close up ... just because. *smile*

Hope you're having a happy weekend!
